What if Diesel didn't come to Sodor in 1957.
One day, a visitor arrives in the shed. The Fat Controller introduces the new engine as Paxton, stating that he is going to be given a trial and charges Duck with showing him around and teaching him what to do.
Duck: "Alright young engine, I'll show you about the yard."
Paxton: "Oh that's alright Duck, us diesels come to a yard and make it bigger... no, bouncier... or is it better... Maybe you should show me around anyway."
Later after a hard days work,
Duck: "Paxton, you are a nice engine, but your work concentration could be improved. Its how we do it on the Great Western Railway."
Paxton: "Oh, I thought we were on the North Western Railway... not the Great one..."
