Here is a promo from the upcoming series "The Adventure Continues":
One night, Douglas was taking the "Midnight Goods" to Barrow-in-Furnace on the Mainland where only diesels worked. He was shunting ready for his return journey when he heard a faint "Hissssssss". "What's that sounds?" he thought. The "Hissss" came again. "Who's there?" he asked. A whisper came "Are you a Fat Controller's engine?".
"Aye and proud of it."
"Thank goodness! I'm Toad and I'm with my engine Oliver. He's run out of coal and has no more steam."
"But wha' are yer doin'?"
"Escaping!"
"Is it scrap ye're escaping?"
"Yes"
"Then its glad I'll be to help ye; but we maun wurrk fast."
Both crews worked fast. They wrote out transit labels and chalked SCRAP all over Toad and his engine. "No time to turrn round," Douglas said as he buffered up to Toad "I'll maun run tender furst. C'mon!" As they steamed out of the station yard; Diesel, who had once visited Sodor, yelled "Yoohoo! A Steamie's escaping! Yoohoo!". Douglas puffed firmly on. "Take no notice!" but they were stopped by a Foreman with a red flag before they could clear the station. "Ah ha," said the Forman "A Great Western brake van and an engine too. You can't take these." "Nah, they're fer uz. See fer yerself." said Douglas as his Driver showed the transit labels and papers. "Hmm, seems in order." said the Foreman "Right away, Guard." Douglas steamed away with his new friends. "Tha' wa' close." said Douglas. "We've had worse."said Toad. It was daylight when they arrived on Sodor. "We're home!" exclaimed Douglas "They can't catch ye noo!".
"Thank you, Mr. Douglas."

I don't know why, but I always imagine Toad as sounding like Parker from 'Thunderbirds'...
"H'I'm worried, Mr Douglas; this nasty spirit h'of disrespect for h'engines! Where's it h'all going to h'end?"
"Dear knaws," sighed Douglas.
"H'It must be stopped before h'it gets h'any worse; H'I believe Mr H'Oliver can do it."
